Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Jean lafitte Duquesne or better known as Quicksilver. Often referred to as the “premier polishing shop in the USA”, let me tell you a bit about how Quick’s Shine Shop has acquired its reputation.
My father, Gean lafitte Duquesne, better known as
"Mean Gene," was known as the best individual polisher in the country
from about 1978 through 1994.
My father was the first polisher to use a 6000 rpm angle grinder

foundries cut down to eight inches and applied to the grinder. In 1978,
my father walked on to the TA Truck Stop in
Here at Quick's Shine Shop Inc. we vow to maintain those same goals, no mater what the job. In 2001 I made the decision to take my experience, and passion to the next level. I started “Quick’s Shine Shop, Inc. Over the past years we have had the honor to work on some of the industries top show and working trucks. For example: Clint Dicks “Freshly Squeezed” 379 Pete pulling a polished Mac aluminum trailer, Randy and Jona Rebillard's “Tired Iron” 379 Pete, Vinnie Diorio's 379 Pete, Les Sullivan's Western Star, Bob and Shelly Brinker’s Freightliner classic “The Black Pearl,” several of Tayler Transports 379 Petes, Rockwood Product’s display truck and trailer, Eilen and Sons fleet and show trucks, Action Carting’s Western Star garbage truck fleet, and Truett Novasad's “High Cotton.” You can check out these trucks and more in our Photo Gallery.
As you can see we have worked on the best of the best when it comes to show and working trucks. We are aware of the high standards our customers set, and we are determined to exceed them no mater what the job.
As our legacy continues, we will continue to go above and beyond to ensure that our customers receive the unique results that set us above the rest and allow you to “Show Your Shine!”
Sincerely,
Jean lafitte Duquesne
